Effective date: October 24, 2026.
This policy explains how Fairmount & Charles, Inc. handles personal information in connection with this website and inquiries submitted to us. It works together with our Data Retention Terms. A separate agreement or notice may govern information handled for a client engagement.
Information we collect
When you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, company and message. If an inquiry form requests email confirmation, we also keep the submission time, confirmation status and record of the consent you gave. Our website, hosting and security services process technical request information needed to operate and protect the site, such as connection details, browser information and request times.
Please send only information needed for your inquiry. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, health information or other highly sensitive information through a general inquiry form.
How we use information
We use inquiry information to verify your email address where requested, understand and respond to your request, manage a business relationship, maintain appropriate business and consent records, and protect our systems against misuse. A verified inquiry may be reviewed for inclusion in our customer relationship management system. Verification does not itself authorize every proposed CRM change; applicable access and approval controls still apply.
Consent to receive a response and to related CRM handling is not consent to marketing. We do not treat an inquiry as an automatic subscription to promotional messages. Any separate marketing choice must be presented separately.
Who may receive information
Access is limited to personnel and service providers who need the information for the purposes described here, including website hosting, email delivery and business-record systems. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with an applicable legal obligation, respond to lawful process, protect rights or investigate misuse. We do not authorize unrelated advertising use of information submitted through the inquiry form.
Cookies, browser storage and third-party links
Website functions may use cookies or browser storage for security, login and request handling. The inquiry form may retain a submission identifier in your browser to help recover a request without submitting it twice. You can manage cookies and stored website data in your browser; blocking them may affect some features. A linked website or third-party service operates under its own privacy terms.
Retention and security
We retain information according to its purpose and the review schedule in our Data Retention Terms. Access restrictions and other reasonable safeguards are used to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your requests and choices
You may ask about the personal information we hold, request correction or deletion, or withdraw consent for future consent-based inquiry handling. Contact quentin.kramer@fairmountcharles.com with the subject “Privacy request.” Please describe your request without including unnecessary sensitive information. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity before acting.
We will assess requests in light of the information we hold, applicable requirements and any legitimate retention needs. Withdrawing consent does not undo earlier permitted handling. Some business, security or legal records may need to be retained; where a request cannot be completed in full, we will explain the applicable limitation.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our website or practices change. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes affecting a consent-based use will be addressed through an appropriate notice or renewed choice before that new use begins. Questions about this policy can be sent to the privacy contact above.
